Our specific condo was built rather cheaply and there have been some complications structurally because of it. Leaks from upstairs, the shower wasn’t installed properly so the drywall behind it has water damage and mold, footsteps and activity from upstairs are ridiculously loud — able to shake our unit below. The HOA only allows access to the mailroom from 8am to 8pm which is a bit irritating since I work late and don’t enjoy leaving packages in my car while I’m working. Complaints aside, the rent is cheap and things could be worse. No roaches which is very rare in this city.
